The Golden Trait
Last week, I was allowed to enter the lab to continue the suspended labwork. Among these was the mating induction between the out bred female and wild type male. So, what I did was to capture a male from the abandoned building and unite them together for 'ice-breaking' session. At first, I just put the male into the container together with the female and left to do other work. But then, I noticed something peculiar about the male. He was coated with "gold"! Wow!, this is awesome, I can make money out of him! It is just a joke..Well, the golden coat is actually the brown pigmentation. What I observed is that wild type individuals have higher proportion of pigmentation compared to that of the laboratory propagated colony, both females and males. What a trait!
They are mating! You can see the male is golden compared to the female..
