Building Lego Spidroin Gene Blocks
It has been almost a week since I have been granted with a permission to enter the lab. I have been working very hard to assemble the silk protein genes a.k.a the lego blocks of spidroin genes. I have tried a set of LD-PCR condition with different set of primer combinations to do so and yet, the large spidroin gene band did not show itself. I just need to be patient but I am running out of time. Crossing fingers to getting the band today!
