Final Phase of the Journey

This morning, I was so shocked to receive the approval letter to work at the Drosophila Lab in USM, Penang under the supervision of my SV, who is now the Head of the Genome and Vaccine Institute. It means, I am at the final stage and also at the peak of the quest for CRISPR spider. During the application process, the staffs were highly cooperative and friendly. This resulted in a very smooth process of getting the letter easily. I cannot wait to place my feet in the lab and start working with the microinjection of CRISPR into Lyoni embryos.
