sgRNA Oligo Synthesis - One is not stingy-
Doing a project with no continuous funding is not really a good idea..But to me, in order to follow my everlasting passion, this is one that I must thrive till the end. One of the hurdles now is to synthesize the sgRNA oligo. Yesterday, I have procured a quotation for the synthesis and it turned out that the price costed more than RM1K for only a small amount. Since this is my first time, I was really shocked with the price knowing that I have no grant to use. Of course, this is the straightforward way and I can get the oligo in short period of time. But, I have to fork out money in kinda huge amount. So, to overcome this, I talked to one supplier about this and she advised me to use a rather manual way. When I compared the price, yeah its whole lot of cheaper but of course many steps are required. Well, as long as it is affordable and sustainable, it would be fine for me. Crossing fingers!
