DIY Injector's Injection Failure~~

 Hey folks, 

Yesterday, I had a chance to perform injection in adult lyoni females. After setting up the device, I started to inject each spider at the lower part of the abdomen. Once the injection button was pressed, about 1.5 to 2 ul of water was injected into the abdomen at 1cc/min speed rate. Alas, it was a total failure when all the injected females did not survive from the injection. It was really disappointing. Indeed, the size of the needle was slightly larger than the glass microcapillary. In the first three to four trials of injection, the needle was too deep that eventually killed them but after many times of practice, the injection became smoother. Yet, they still died from it. I think it could be due to the volume of injection. But I will try to optimize it over and over again until I could get the ideal condition. Crossing fingers to this~~
