A Microinjector NewBie

 Yesterday marked the first day of my activity at Drosophila lab performing the molding of microinjector needle using glass capillary. Indeed, I did not have the experience of doing so and the professor to whom the microinjector unit belongs to have no active students anymore, hence could not guide me. Yet, he allowed me to use and advised me to take care of it. I was so happy and promise to myself to look for it as it is mine. So yesterday, I had performed the molding of the capillary needle using a puller. Luckily, my lab mate who had experiences before had aided me to yield the needles and we managed to optimize few good designs! Hopefully, it will work to penetrate spider embryo safely! Yosh~~
