High Inbreeding Tolerance and The Rise of the 13th Generation
Hey guys, I want to update on the inbreeding progress of my spider colony C. lyoni in the lab. Up to now, a 12th generation of inbred line has been successfully created and guess what, there was no sign of inbreeding rejection at all in this species. In fact, when I introduced the males into females, they immediately started the copulation! I would say, C. lyoni have a high tolerance towards inbreeding! Since they enjoyed mating with full sibs, I cannot wait to get the 13th generation of inbred C. lyoni. Enjoy the video I made on them.
